Manga (read : man-ga, or ma-ng-ga) is how to called comic in japanese, while in outboard Japan itself, manga uses specifically to mention japanese comic (Wikipedia, Free Encyclopedia)

A plenty of Japan lover communities in Indonesia are the real evidence that Japan pop culture takes place strongly in our country. That’s why the product of its pop culture itself, in this case is Manga or Japanese comic is produced in so a big amout until now. It is right that manga is a great product of art. Generally, we think that manga is child-stuff without realize that there are some mangas that don’t proper to be read by our under-age children or youngers.

Before we talk about relation between manga or some genres of manga and moral tendency, it is better to know deeper about manga itself.

The Origin of Manga

Manga is a term for Japanese comic. The first manga was made by Suzuki Kankei in 1771, its tittle is Mankaku Zuihitsu. Otherwise, there said that the first manga have appeared in 18th century.

Types of Manga

There are several types of manga. It is important to remember, Manga have some levels and ratings to be noticed, so that in future no usual failure as exception for us to read something that don’t proper and suit well for each level of ages.

Below are some types og manga ;

1.      Shonen        : Manga for 8-18 aged boys. This type of manga contains a lot of actions, dominated by fighting scenes.

2.      Shouju         : Manga for 12-18 aged girls. This type of manga is dominated by romance scenes.

3.      Seinen          : Manga for adult, specially for 18-30 aged men. This type of manga contains more violence scenes in number and complex plot.

4.      Josei             : Manga for adult, specially 21-30 aged women.

5.      Hentai         : Manga that is contained elements of porn and (explicit or implicit) sexual scenes.

6.      Jidaigeki      : Manga that is contained historical elements inside.

7.      Mecha         : Manga that tell about the all-powerful gigantic robots.

8.      Bishoujo      : One of a kind of manga that mostly characters are included in its story (usually contains a girl or animal) with cuter appearance.

9.      Bishonen     : Manga that describe a pretty boy and far from masculin impression.

10. Shoujo-ai    : Manga that tell about romantic scene between the same-sex or lesbi. While Yuri is one of genre of manga that contained porn scenes inside.

11. Shonen-ai   : Manga that tell about romantic scene between the same-sex or Gay. While Yaoi is another form of Shonen-ai, but contained porn scenes inside.

12. Kodomo     : Manga for 6-10 aged children.

Based on some types of manga above. We get some mangas list that too dangerous to consumed by children because its negative impacts in some aspects. From now on, i will focus on one type of manga namely hentai.

We might think that our children or youngers never brave to save some forbidden mangas under their bed without we noticed that.

But, have we ever thinked that the distribution of hentai manga covers various aspects and media? “They”don’t only circulate in bookstore, but in internet and cyber world too and take softcopy form. Moreover, most of sub-genres og hentai manga can be accessed and downloadable easily by our personal computer, both of the softcore and hardcore ones.

Have we ever thinked wheter it is okay to give our younger or children manga named Sinchan? Is it appropiate? Don’t we think the impact of that mild stimulan but dangerous?

The Negative Impact

Of course, just like other porn contents such video or picture, hentai manga has the same effects for brain development. It will cause an addiction effect. Maybe at the first time they consume some soft porn contents, but over time they want more, more, and more. That’s why they will become individually deviate.

Porn stuff attacks short-term memory. Where that part of the brain are responsible to maintain the input information and using it to complete the task. Working memory is crucial for understanding, reasoning, problem solving, and decision making. Moreover, porn stuff can harm a part of the brain that are responsible to control moral and value and self-control.

Do you know that porn stuff can harm five parts of the brain? In fact, yes, it will harm five parts of the brain namely Orbitofrontal Midfrontal, Lusula Hippocarpus Tempral, Nucleus Accumbens, patumencingalute, and Cerebelum.

Problem Solving

It may be very difficult to get rid of habits that have been done over and over again. But there are some ways that can be done to reduce consumption of that stuff, or even to prevent someone not to read hentai manga.

1.      If your children or youngers are internet active user, try to use provider that blocked harmful contents.

2.      Try to check what your children and youngers do in front of computer occasionally.

3.      Immediately throw or delete all of hentai manga files on your computer.

Negative things could happen  even from the slighest thing, so it is good to be vigilant and cautious.
